  Storyline:
  
  James Bond is back for another mission and this time, he is
blasting off into space. A spaceship traveling through space is mysteriously hi-jacked and Bond must work quickly to
find out who was behind it all. He starts with the rockets creators, Drax Industries and the man behind the
organisation, Hugo Drax. On his journey he ends up meeting Dr. Holly Goodhead and encounters the metal-toothed Jaws once
again.
  
  Koniec dekady lat siedemdziesiątych to fascynacja zarówno twórców kina jak i widowni
kosmosem i wszystkim co z nim związane, działo się tak za sprawą takich reżyserów jak: George
Lucas i Ridley Scott, którzy wykreowali niezapomniane, przełomowe filmy jak: "Gwiezdne Wojny" i "Obcy", twórcy
Bonda jak i sam bohater nie zamierzali pozostawać w cieniu rodzącego się fenomenu. Tak powstaje - Moonraker
jedenasty film cyklu na podstawie noweli Iana Fleminga z 1955r. 007 wysłany zostaje do malowniczego dworu Hugo Draxa
(Michael Lonsdale) gdzie znajduje się również ośrodek szkoleniowy dla przyszłych astronautów. Bond
uwodzi piękną podwładną Draxa (Corinne Clery) i z jej pomocą wykrada z sejfu tajne dane
dotyczące promów kosmicznych. Następnie bohater przenosi się do Wenecji gdzie odkrywa tajemnicze
laboratorium, skład oraz skutki przebywania blisko tajemniczej, śmiercionośnej w skutkach Toksyny.
Kontynuując dochodzenie, przenosi się do Rio gdzie na terenie dżungli Amazońskiej znajduje się baza,
z której na niewidzialną dla radarów stacje wystrzeliwane są promy kosmiczne wraz z załogą. Bond
wspólnie z agentką służb rządu Amerykańskiego (Lois Chiles), muszą zniszczyć system
antyradarowy umożliwiający jednostką naziemnym namierzenie stacji oraz wyeliminowanie szaleńca.
